Global deal advisory firm Equiteq has announced the promotion of Emmanuel Kostucki to Managing Director. Based in the firm’s London office, Kostucki joined the firm almost four years ago.
Jerome Glynn-Smith, Managing Director and Head of Europe for Equiteq, said, “The firm’s success would not be possible without such talented people in our global teams. Emmanuel has shown exemplary and consistent work in delivering transformational outcomes for our clients through transactions, as well as embracing Equiteq’s core values of achievement, empathy, integrity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial spirit. I’m excited to work with him towards more successful accomplishments with Equiteq.”
Kostucki arrived in Equiteq’s London merger and acquisition (M&A) team in July 2019. Initially working as a Vice President, he became a Director a year later. In his time with the firm, a press release from Equiteq praised him for delivering sector specialist advice and impact to clients on end-to-end sell-side and buy-side engagements, and “delivering 11 outstanding outcomes for Equiteq clients during his tenure with the firm.”
With almost two decades of industry experience, before his time with Equiteq, Kostucki spent time at a number of private equity houses. These included Avendus Capital, JRJ Group, and Capital SCF. Looking ahead, he will continue to utilise his knowhow from those engagements, and his extensive network in European technology and services private M&A, to help build Equiteq’s domain-led value proposition in Europe.
Commenting on his promotion, Kostucki added, “I’m grateful to all our Equiteq clients who place trust in our teams to deliver complex and important work for them. The relationship we have built with them is paramount to Equiteq’s success. My next thought goes to this very special Equiteq team in London and to Jerome who are central ingredients to our increased market share and delivery excellence. I am excited to continue building our success within the technology services and consulting economies, and developing the next generation of Equiteq leaders.”
The news comes after another milestone year for Equiteq. Having assisted a number of landmark deals throughout the year, the firm has announced seven senior promotions globally, including Kostucki. Also named Managing Director in Singapore is Sylvaine Masson, while in the same office Chi Hao Tey becomes Vice President, and Tibére Simonnet is made a Senior Analyst. Jeremy Azzarita has also been promoted to Vice President in New York, while Christopher Saunderson becomes an Associate in the same office.
